New appointment expands global sales strategy
Advanced has announced the appointment of Davi Galvao as its new Sales Director.
The company confirmed that Galvao will oversee its global sales strategy and will join its Board of Directors.
Advanced stated that Galvao will focus on strengthening existing partnerships and identifying new growth opportunities in international markets.
Galvao joins the company after nearly 14 years in senior commercial roles within the Halma group of companies.
According to Advanced, his most recent role was as Divisional Segment Manager for EMEA and APAC at OsecoElfab, where he led sales expansion across Europe and Asia.
Galvao’s previous roles across Europe, Asia and South America
Advanced stated that Galvao had previously served as Director of Halma’s Process Safety Division in Brazil.
In that position, he led start-up operations in the region and collaborated with other Halma companies to expand their presence across South America.
The company explained that his responsibilities included market entry planning, customer engagement and long-term sales development.
It added that this background provides Galvao with broad commercial experience in both emerging and established markets.
Advanced noted that Galvao’s international track record supports its ongoing expansion in key territories.
Background and qualifications
According to the company, Galvao is originally from Brazil and now resides in Newcastle, close to Advanced’s Balliol facility.
He holds a Master of Business Administration, a specialist degree in tax law and a Bachelor of Laws.
Advanced stated that his academic background complements his professional experience in sales and commercial leadership.
The company added that Galvao supports a collaborative management style and values team-based decision-making.
It said that this aligns with Advanced’s culture of cross-functional coordination across business units.
