Intersec Saudi Arabia focuses on predictive security through AI and VR
Intersec Saudi Arabia 2024, the Kingdom’s largest event for security, safety, and fire protection, will take place from 1 to 3 October at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC).
The event, now in its sixth edition, will highlight the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) in delivering predictive and personalised security solutions.
As reported by 1st Arabia Trade Shows & Conferences, Kearney, the official Knowledge Partner of the event, will share insights on how AI will be key in smart city security.
Andrea Lugini, Kearney Partner and MEA Security Lead, said: “AI will be the backbone of predictive security solutions in smart cities, analysing data from multiple sources to prevent incidents before they happen.”
Additionally, VR will enhance security protocols through simulations, allowing for personalised and realistic scenario planning.
Kearney to address global security challenges at Future Security & Safety Summit
Kearney’s experts will lead discussions at the Future Security & Safety Summit from 1 to 2 October, focusing on global security challenges and the rise of new threats.
The summit will explore topics such as emerging global threats, crisis response strategies, and risk management.
Kearney will also discuss the security measures required for major international events like the World Cup and EXPO.
The firm will provide updates on how technology is influencing security strategies and how to mitigate the associated risks.
Future Readiness Program to shape security innovation
On 3 October, the Future Readiness Program will bring together government officials, security leaders, and Kearney to explore future-ready security solutions.
Discussions will cover topics such as talent, capabilities, and the integration of technology in security practices.
Lugini commented: “We are curating a diverse panel of experts who will shed light on where we are headed regarding threats, talent, capabilities, innovation, and technology integration.”
Intersec Saudi Arabia expands exhibition space in 2024
The 2024 edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia has seen increased demand from exhibitors, leading to a 34% expansion in exhibition space compared to last year.
Covering 23,000 sqm, the exhibition will feature five product categories: Commercial and Perimeter Security, Cybersecurity, Homeland Security and Policing, Fire Rescue, and Safety and Health.
According to Riham Sedik, Show Manager for Intersec Saudi Arabia, the event offers a platform for industry networking and showcasing cutting-edge security solutions.
