Nominations now open for ASFP Awards 2025
The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) has announced that nominations are now being accepted for the ASFP Awards 2025.
The awards aim to recognise individuals and organisations working in passive fire protection across the United Kingdom.
According to the ASFP, entries must be submitted by Friday 29 August 2025.
Awards to recognise fire safety innovation and leadership
The ASFP stated that its awards recognise excellence in areas including innovation, leadership, academic achievement, and customer service.
The organisation said the awards are designed to highlight individuals and projects that have contributed to improvements in the passive fire protection sector.
It added that nominations can be submitted by industry professionals and organisations throughout the UK fire safety community.
Categories cover project work, training, and academic success
The ASFP confirmed that the 2025 awards will feature categories including Passive Fire Innovation of the Year (Project and Digital), Best Installation or Project (Small-Scale and Large-Scale), and Training and Development Initiative of the Year.
There are also categories for Best Customer Service Initiative, Marketing Campaign of the Year, and the Individual Rising Star of the Year.
The ASFP noted that academic performance is also recognised through awards for Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in passive fire protection.
Industry advocacy and lifetime achievement also acknowledged
The ASFP said it will again include the Advocate of the Year and Lifetime Contribution Award in this year’s programme.
These categories are intended to recognise individuals who have promoted passive fire protection or made a long-term impact on the field.
The organisation stated that the awards provide a platform to recognise outstanding efforts in the advancement of safety through passive fire protection.

The ASFP explained that the awards form part of a wider effort to raise standards and celebrate achievement across the industry.
