AssistCallPro to debut at Fire Safety Event 2025
Vox Ignis has announced the launch of its new AssistCallPro safety alarm system, which will be introduced at the Fire Safety Event 2025.
The system is designed for multiple alarm applications, including accessible toilets and bedrooms, water leak detection, fire doors, emergency exits, pools, saunas, panic alarms, and medical emergencies.
AssistCallPro operates on a network with up to 64 zones and allows for multiple touchscreen control options.
It also includes a programmable relay output for integration with building management systems and third-party platforms.
Features and compliance of AssistCallPro
The AssistCallPro range includes input and output devices available in white or stainless steel finishes, with IP66 variants for specific environments.
It complies with BS 8300-2:2018 and is designed for easy installation in single or double gang back boxes.
Installation is simplified through network autolearn and graphical fault management, which can be accessed via touchscreen modules.
The system offers four main module options: PSU, four-zone controller, programmable relay module, and touchscreen controller/repeater.
The network loop can expand up to 7km to accommodate changing site layouts.
Installation and connectivity options
Each remote PSU can power up to four network modules and can be located up to 100m away for convenient mains connection.
All field line devices are powered directly from the line and can be installed in any order.
The system supports Cat5 networking for power and data, while field lines can use Cat5, security cable, or twin and earth wiring.
Market applications and future plans
Jeremy Kirkup, sales director at Vox Ignis, said: “We’re delighted to be launching the latest version of our earliest product AssistCall, especially as it adds so many unique features and benefits for our customers and end users.
“AssistCallPro’s attractive aesthetics, intuitive installation, and easy commissioning have already attracted a number of use cases including safety alarms for pools, water parks, and saunas; panic alarms in doctors’ surgeries; first aid alerts for factories; medical emergency alarms in gyms; water leak alarms in residential blocks; emergency door alarms in care homes; and of course accessible room and WC alarms.
“We’re already looking to add more alarm types in the coming months.”
