Rosenbauer is delivering 200 HEROS H10 wildland firefighting helmets to the Austrian Forces Disaster Relief Unit (AFDRU).

The HEROS H10 is specifically designed for disaster relief, wildland firefighting, and technical rescue. Its lightweight design reduces strain on wearers while maintaining a high level of protection.

These helmets will support AFDRU’s operations, which play a crucial role in disaster response both within Austria and internationally.

750 HEROS Titan helmets for Austrian Armed Forces

Rosenbauer is also providing 750 HEROS Titan firefighting helmets to multiple divisions of the Austrian Armed Forces. These include ABC Defense units, training area fire protection teams, aircraft rescue squads, mine rescue units, and ammunition depots.

The HEROS Titan is versatile and suitable for firefighting and emergency response operations. Its robust design ensures reliable protection across a range of high-risk scenarios.

Focus on adaptability and hygiene

A key feature of both helmet models is their compatibility within the HEROS product line.

The HEROS H10 interior fittings are interchangeable with the HEROS Titan, allowing adjustments for multiple users and physiological differences. This adaptability simplifies logistics and supports better hygiene management, a priority for the Austrian Armed Forces.

Kurt Wandaller, Head of Area Europe at Rosenbauer, commented: “The Austrian Armed Forces play a vital role in ensuring safety and disaster relief, both nationally and internationally. Reliable protective equipment is indispensable for their mission.”

Made in Austria

Both the HEROS H10 and HEROS Titan helmets are manufactured entirely in Austria, ensuring a fully domestic value chain.

This production approach aligns with Rosenbauer’s commitment to high-quality, locally produced equipment for emergency services and disaster response.
