Avon Protection MI-TIC thermal imaging cameras achieve NFPA 1930 certification

Avon Protection has announced that its MI-TIC thermal imaging camera range has achieved NFPA 1930 certification, marking a key product milestone for the company’s firefighting and emergency response technology portfolio.

The certified range includes the MI-TIC S, MI-TIC EL, MI-TIC E and MI-TIC 320 thermal imaging cameras, which are designed to support firefighters and rescue teams operating in low-visibility, high-temperature and complex incident environments.

Certification supports firefighter thermal imaging standards

NFPA 1930, which incorporates requirements previously associated with NFPA 1801, sets standards for thermal imagers used by firefighters and emergency services. Avon Protection said the certification demonstrates that the MI-TIC range meets the latest requirements for equipment used in demanding fireground and rescue operations.

MI-TIC range designed for fire and rescue operations
