Blackline Safety expands operations across EMEA
Blackline Safety has announced the opening of two new international offices in Cologne, Germany and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
According to the company, the expansion strengthens its operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and enhances proximity to its growing customer base.
The Cologne office builds on Blackline’s established presence in the United Kingdom and France, supporting regional sales, service and customer engagement across Europe and Africa.
Its Abu Dhabi office will provide training and service support for customers in the energy, utilities and petrochemical sectors.
The company said the new location follows a multi-year purchase agreement with ADNOC, extending its regional reach in the Middle East.
Cody Slater, CEO and Chair of Blackline Safety, said: “We’re excited to bring Blackline’s global operations even closer to our customers across Europe and the Middle East.
“Opening regional offices in Cologne and Abu Dhabi strengthens our local service and support capabilities and positions us to better partner with global enterprise customers.”
Expansion aligns with major international events
The company confirmed that the office openings coincide with its 10th consecutive year exhibiting at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi.
The event takes place from 3–6 November 2025 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, where Blackline Safety is located in Hall 2, Stand 2460.
It will also participate in A+A 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 4–7 November, at Hall 4, Stand F06.
Both events focus on safety, energy and workplace technologies, bringing together industry professionals from across the world.
Platform updates showcased at global exhibitions
Blackline Safety said it will showcase major updates to its cloud-based safety platform at both trade events.
The updates were first introduced at the NSC 2025 Safety Congress & Expo.
New features include ZoneAware Geofencing, an upgraded Loner Mobile app, enhanced gas sensor visibility and new bulk management automation tools.
According to the company, these advancements are designed to give safety and operations teams deeper situational awareness and easier programme management.
They also aim to strengthen compliance and efficiency while extending protection to more workers.
Relevance for fire and safety professionals
Blackline Safety’s expansion into Cologne and Abu Dhabi reinforces the company’s engagement with industrial safety markets, particularly in energy, utilities and petrochemicals.
For professionals responsible for monitoring worker safety, this development provides access to localised training, support and technology tailored to high-risk sectors.
The new regional offices will also facilitate faster response to client needs, ensuring connected safety systems are supported by on-the-ground expertise.
Safety officers, operations managers and compliance teams working across multinational or EMEA-based projects may benefit from improved access to connected safety solutions and cloud-based platform updates demonstrated at ADIPEC and A+A 2025.
