Bull Products demonstrates advanced fire safety solutions at education and construction exhibitions
As reported by Bull Products, the company will be showcasing its SITEPROTECT lockdown alarm system, designed specifically for the education sector.
SITEPROTECT is equipped with a wireless mesh network that allows up to 480 units to communicate simultaneously, providing comprehensive coverage across schools and colleges.
The system includes remote devices that can be placed in classrooms or other areas, with staff being able to activate the alarm through call points, similar to fire alarms.
The control panel can notify responsible individuals and authorities, ensuring a quick response during emergencies.
The system also offers advanced integration options, including mobile notifications and interfacing with a school’s PA system.
SITEPROTECT can send alerts to up to 50 users through its fire panel and Auto Dialler.
Bull Products is presenting this system at the Education Estates event at stand 709.
SITENET fire detection and cloud monitoring platform highlighted
Visitors to stand 709 will also learn about the SITENET fire detection and alarm system, another advanced solution by Bull Products.
SITENET is 100% wireless, certified under EN 54 standards, and built to provide maximum efficiency in various environments.
It uses Cygnus wireless technology, ensuring reliability through a self-healing mesh network that can be applied to both indoor and outdoor settings.
Bull Products has recently expanded the SITENET range, focusing on internal applications with a modern, streamlined design.
A key addition to the system is Cygnus ALERT, a cloud-based monitoring platform that offers real-time updates on system status, including fault detection and mesh information.
This allows for quick responses to emergency situations across multiple sites.
Bull Products at the British Tunnelling Society Conference
Bull Products also recently exhibited at The British Tunnelling Society Conference, held from 8th to 9th October 2024, where it presented its fire safety solutions for the construction sector.
The event allowed attendees to see first-hand the capabilities of both the SITENET and SITEPROTECT systems.
SITENET, designed for construction sites, uses the same wireless mesh technology to provide reliable fire detection in challenging environments, including high-rise buildings and underground projects.
The SITEPROTECT system, also featured at the event, was highlighted for its ability to operate in tough construction environments, such as those involving dense concrete.
The system’s robust wireless mesh technology makes it ideal for these settings, linking up to 480 devices across 15 zones.
Cloud-based safety management for construction sites
Cygnus ALERT, Bull Products’ cloud-based notification system for SITENET, was also showcased at the British Tunnelling Society Conference.
This platform is designed to improve site safety through real-time monitoring and fault detection.
It allows construction professionals and site managers to view and manage multiple sites from a central interface, enabling faster and more informed responses to emergencies.
Commenting on the event, Carl Leeson, Head of Sales at Bull Products, said: “We’re pleased to have exhibited at the British Tunnelling Society Conference for the first time and present how our cutting-edge fire safety solutions can transform safety practices in construction.”
