Bull exhibits at Naval Damage Control Conference in Southampton

Bull Products has reported that it will exhibit for the first time at the Naval Damage Control Conference in Southampton.

The conference will take place from 30 September to 2 October 2025 and will focus on naval firefighting, survivability and damage control.

Bull Products said it will be based at Stand 2 during the event, which marks the 10th iteration of the conference.

Carl Leeson, Head of Sales at Bull Products, said: “We’re delighted to be exhibiting at the Naval Damage Control conference for the first time and showcasing our solutions, demonstrating their compliancy and versatility to support a variety of applications.

“We look forward to contributing to the significant conversation of naval fire safety and connecting with delegates.”

SITENET wireless fire detection system

According to Bull Products, its stand will feature SITENET, a wireless intelligent fire detection and alarm system fully certified to EN 54.

The system can link up to 511 devices from one panel with 32 zones and is built on a combination of radio devices.

The company said the network is based on self-forming, self-healing wireless mesh technology with multipath network redundancy and channel hopping.

It reported that SITENET complies with JCoP and HSG168, including in temporary accommodation, while providing an integrated site-wide solution for construction sites.

Bull Products explained that it is the only provider to offer such extensive EN 54 certified fire detection and alarm systems for both internal and external settings.

Cygnus Mesh Analyser diagnostic software

Bull Products has outlined that visitors to its stand can also learn about the Cygnus Mesh Analyser diagnostic software.

It said the software delivers a graphical display of mesh signal strengths and connection paths for each device in the SITENET system.

The company added that the software also provides history of how devices joined the network and their previous connections.

According to Bull Products, the analyser displays the structure and strength of the mesh network and suggests actions to improve performance.

It stated that the software is designed to support more efficient installation and commissioning, helping installers and end-users to maintain a robust and stable network.

Cygnus ALERT cloud portal

Bull Products has reported that its stand will also highlight Cygnus ALERT, a subscription-based cloud platform designed for notification and monitoring.

The company explained that the platform integrates with SITENET and allows administrators to monitor multiple sites.

It added that the system provides detailed information on issues such as battery status faults, mesh status and fault history.

According to Bull Products, Cygnus ALERT enables integrators and administrators to receive real-time event, fault or mesh information, supporting faster on-site responses.

The company said the Cygnus ALERT module can be fitted into the SITENET control panel at installation or retrofitted into existing systems.

SITEPROTECT temporary fire detection system

Bull Products has stated that its stand will also feature SITEPROTECT, a temporary wireless mesh fire detection and alarm system.

It explained that SITEPROTECT can link up to 480 devices across 15 zones.

According to the company, the detectors are EN 54-5 and EN 54-7 certified.

Bull Products added that the range includes wireless emergency fire, first aid and intruder alarms to support site safety.

Relevance for fire and safety professionals

Bull Products’ participation in the Naval Damage Control Conference highlights the application of its fire detection systems in naval contexts.

The event provides professionals with insight into systems used for firefighting, survivability and damage control on naval platforms.

The systems presented at the conference also have wider applications in temporary and permanent construction environments.

The exhibition allows practitioners to assess the functionality of certified wireless fire detection and monitoring technologies.
