Head of Sales, Bull Products, Carl Leeson’s statement

Carl Leeson, Head of Sales at Bull Products explained: “We’re proud to be exhibiting at Education Estates, where we’ll be presenting our tailored, EN 54 certified safety solutions for the education sector on stand 708.

“Our commitment to safety is reflected in our product pyramid, with the advanced SITENET, SITEPROTECT and SITEEVAC+ fire detection and alarm systems.

“We’re excited to demonstrate how these innovative technologies, like the SITEPROTECT Lockdown alarm, can enhance protection in educational environments”

SITEPROTECT Lockdown Alarm System

The SITEPROTECT Lockdown alarm system has been developed primarily for the education market to protect and warn of an intruder or other critical event.

The system comprises of a control panel and remote devices that connect to each other through a wireless mesh network.

Alarm devices can be located in each teaching area, so when the alarm is activated the staff and pupils will follow the lockdown procedure.

An alarm device also has a call point which can be activated by the staff member in any area just like a fire call point system.

Once a lockdown alarm is activated, up to 480 units can sound simultaneously throughout a school or college.

The SITEPROTECT Lockdown Alarm control panel can also notify a responsible person of an active alarm, to quickly identify the location of the activation, and to alert the authorities.

The system can be interfaced with the premises public address system using an Input/Output device, this allows a voice message to be broadcast in the event of a lockdown.

Further features can be added such as the Auto Dialler, which can communicate an emergency to up to 50 users.

The full SITEPROTECT range

Visitors to stand 708 will also see first-hand the full SITEPROTECT fire detection and alarm system range, which is designed to wirelessly link up to 480 individual devices across 15 different zones.

Utilising patented Cygnus technology, it delivers exceptional reliability and durability, setting a new standard in safety solutions.

The range utilises detector heads that are EN 54-5 and EN 54-7 certified and includes wireless emergency fire, first aid and intruder alarms for complete site safety.

SITENET range

The team will also be on hand to discuss SITENET, the only fully EN 54 certified, wireless mesh temporary fire detection and alarm system.

The SITENET range is built on a combination of radio devices, operating on patented self-forming, self-healing wireless mesh technology with multipath network redundancy utilising innovative channel hopping technology.

It can link up to 511 devices from one panel with 32 zones. It delivers full compliance with JCoP, HSE (HSG168) and UKTFA, even in temporary accommodations, while providing a single integrated site-wide fire detection and alarm solution to meet the diverse needs of complex construction sites.

Bull Products is the only provider offering such extensive EN 54 certified fire detection and alarm solutions for both internal and external environments.

Cygnus ALERT notification and monitoring platform

SITENET can be enhanced by Cygnus ALERT, a cloud-based remote notification and monitoring platform which increases site safety by providing users with real-time updates on events, faults and mesh information.

Cygnus ALERT provides easy user management to view and notify across multiple sites and a variety of environments, enabling swift responses to on-site situations.

Also at the event, the Bull Products team will be displaying the fully EN 54 certified, 100% wireless fire detection and alarm system, SmartNet.
