Annual awards ceremony celebrates Chubb employees
Chubb Fire & Security, a UK fire safety and security solutions providers, recently honoured its exceptional colleagues at the third annual Chubb Superstars awards ceremony.
Held on Friday, 7th June, at the historic Cameron House Hotel and Spa in Glasgow, the event celebrated the dedication and achievements of Chubb’s people across the UK and Ireland.
Attendees donned kilts, ball gowns, and tuxedos, transforming the venue into a vibrant celebration of excellence and camaraderie.
Recognising outstanding contributions
Dave Dunnagan, Chubb’s Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, warmly welcomed everyone and set the stage for an inspiring evening.
Joined by other members of the senior leadership team, the team presented 43 Chubb Superstar awards to outstanding individuals and teams that have made notable contributions to the business.
An inspiring speech by Paul Grunau, Learning Officer at APi Group, on Building Great Leaders and the power of believing in one’s success resonated deeply with the audience.
Award winners from diverse roles
The award winners represented a diverse array of roles, including sales, service engineering, and operational positions.
Among them were unsung heroes, difference makers, and emerging stars whose exceptional contributions have made a lasting impact on the organisation.
Dave Dunnagan said: “It’s an honour to present these awards to our remarkable teammates for their outstanding contributions in 2023.”
Special recognition with the ValYou award
Andrew White, Chubb’s CEO, presented the prestigious ValYou award, which epitomises Chubb’s commitment to recognising those who embody the company’s core values.
Andrew highlighted the story of Ben O’Leary, a service engineer whose quick thinking and selfless actions during a routine service visit saved a life.
Andrew added: “Ben’s heroism and dedication exemplify Chubb’s fundamental value of ‘Protecting People First.’”
