Crowcon has launched the IQ range of connected portable gas detectors, available for pre-order from Tuesday 23 September.

The company said the IQ range includes single and dual-gas wearables, area monitors and cloud-based insights for fleet-wide monitoring.

It explained that the devices are modular, connected and designed to simplify testing, calibration and compliance.

The UnoIQ provides single-gas protection and can be upgraded midlife to a dual-gas device.

The DuoIQ monitors two gases in one device, offering long battery life and compatibility with multiple sensor types.

The DetectiveIQ is an area monitor capable of monitoring up to seven gases with a 15-week battery life and mesh networking to link multiple units.

Each device connects with IQHub for rapid testing and automatic data upload.

Crowcon confirmed that IQHub and Crowcon Connect allow managers to monitor alarms, compliance status and device activity in real time across locations.
