CTIF releases 2025 competition rules in English, French and German
The International Fire Brigade Competitions Commission has released the official rules for the 2025 CTIF events, as reported by CTIF.
The rules were approved by the CTIF Executive Committee on 18 February 2025 and are now available in English, French and German.
The competitions aim to improve training and strengthen links between fire brigades across CTIF member countries.
Medal structure and competition format confirmed for 2025
CTIF stated that the competitions will include traditional events, youth events and new sporting categories.
Three formats are scheduled: Traditional International Fire Brigade Competitions with 150 teams, Sporting Competitions with 27 teams, and Cadet and Corps competitions with 59 teams.
CTIF confirmed that all participants will receive the official badge of the competition.
Winners to receive medals based on final ranking
According to CTIF, each group will receive a certificate and an International Fire Brigade Competition Medal.
Teams ranked in the top third will receive a gold medal.
Those in the second third will receive silver, while the remaining teams will receive bronze.
CTIF added that honorary prizes may be awarded to top-scoring teams.
Fire Sports Commission expands scope of international events
CTIF explained that a new Fire Sports Commission was established in 2023.
The group will host competitions beyond the traditional Fire Brigade Olympics, broadening international participation.
The first meeting of the commission was held in Prague on 19 February 2023.

The expanded events include both traditional and sporting competitions.
