Cundall has reported that it has appointed Bernice Wong as associate director in its fire engineering team.

According to Cundall, Wong is a structural fire engineer who will support both new construction projects and retrofit schemes.

The consultancy said the appointment is intended to enhance its capacity to deliver integrated fire safety design.

Cundall explained that Wong will collaborate with both the fire and structural teams to deliver projects aligned with current fire safety regulations.

It added that she joins from NDY, a Tetra Tech company, and has also worked at Hydrock and Ramboll.

Cundall stated that Wong has delivered fire safety design across a range of complex projects.

It said these have included 50 Berkeley Street in Mayfair, Velindre Cancer Centre in Wales and Facebook’s former London headquarters at Regent’s Place.

The consultancy noted that her international experience extends to Nimit Langsuan in Bangkok, a 55-storey residential development.

It added that Wong also worked on the Lotus Cars Production Building in Norfolk.

Cundall indicated that this background equips her with knowledge across diverse building types and client requirements.
