Desu Systems plans price changes and more site visits

Desu Systems BV has published a 2025 reflections and 2026 outlook update, written by Founder and CEO Ronald Verkroost and Managing Director Emile Hippe.

The company said 2025 marked 20 years since Desu was founded.

Verkroost and Hippe said the anniversary prompted a review of progress and priorities heading into 2026.

Desu Systems reorganises into four divisions

According to Desu Systems, it introduced structural changes during 2025 intended to improve how it supports clients.

The company said it is now organised into four divisions covering Flame & Gas Detection, OGI & Methane Emission Monitoring, Kitchen Fire & Hygiene Solutions and Special Products.

Desu Systems said each division is led by teams focused on specific industries and operating environments.

It added that the goal is to provide more relevant expertise and a smoother experience from first contact through long-term support.

Staffing and in-person support plans

Desu Systems said it plans to increase travel capacity in 2026 so its teams can spend more time on site with clients.

The company said this is intended to support in-person engagement when needed, across different locations.

It also said it welcomed new colleagues during 2025, naming Yifat, Arend, Vivienne, Liza, Sven and Jeffrey.

Desu Systems added that 2025 was the first year with Emile Hippe in the Managing Director role.

Product development and events attended

Desu Systems said it launched the SharpEye 20/20Q flame detector during 2025, positioning it as designed for rapid detection in complex industrial settings.

The company said it also completed early-stage development of the K-Star automatic degreasing system, which it described as focused on kitchen hygiene and fire safety.

Desu Systems said the K-Star system is expected to launch in mid-2026.

It added that it improved stock levels, expanded certifications and streamlined support processes during the year.

The company said it attended LNGcon, StocExpo, Host Milano and the Fire Safety Event as part of its 2025 engagement programme.

2026 participation and pricing changes

Desu Systems said it plans to participate in Intersec, the Fire Safety Event and Interschutz in 2026.

It described these events as opportunities for face-to-face meetings to discuss challenges, opportunities and partnerships.

The company said it will implement price adjustments on select product lines early in 2026, citing increased supplier costs including raw materials, compliance and shipping.

Desu Systems said account managers will support customers with updated pricing, lead times and forward planning for 2026 projects.
