Emile Hippe joins Desu Systems as Managing Director
Desu Systems has announced the appointment of Emile Hippe as its new Managing Director, effective 1 August 2025.
Hippe brings over two decades of experience in leadership, strategy and operational development, having worked in international roles across multiple industries.
The company said the appointment coincides with its 20th anniversary and comes as it prepares to expand its international operations and launch new product lines.
Desu Systems operates in more than 64 countries and distributes equipment used in flame and gas detection, optical gas imaging, methane emissions monitoring, kitchen fire suppression, and armoured vehicle fire safety.
The company confirmed that Hippe will report directly to CEO Ronald Verkroost and will focus on internal structure, commercial team expansion, and operational efficiency.
New appointment reflects planned operational growth
Hippe’s role will centre on scaling the company’s internal processes to support continued international growth.
He will lead efforts to build out the company’s commercial capabilities and improve process consistency.
According to the company, this internal scaling aligns with its broader strategy of developing teams that can support increasing market demand and new technologies.
Desu Systems added that the appointment is part of a broader effort to enhance delivery and operations in global markets.
This includes preparations for the upcoming launch of the K-Star Automatic Degreasing System.

Emile Hippe has held senior leadership roles in organisations such as American Express and Teleperformance.
In these positions, Hippe supported large-scale accounts including Samsung, Apple, Klarna and Vodafone.
His work focused on digital transformation, process optimisation and building high-performing teams in complex operational settings.
It added that Hippe brings experience managing global-scale logistics and operations, with an emphasis on sustained growth through structured development.
According to Desu Systems, these experiences align with its current growth stage and future strategic plans.
