Erith Group adopts PlanRadar for digital quality assurance

PlanRadar has announced that Erith Group has selected its platform as the new group-wide standard for digital documentation and quality assurance across the UK.

According to PlanRadar, the decision follows an internal evaluation by Erith Group to improve its processes across demolition, construction, remediation, infrastructure and consultancy services.

Erith Group said the adoption of PlanRadar will centralise record keeping and improve transparency, enabling faster turnaround times for project documentation and improved client reporting.

PlanRadar stated that the decision reflects Erith Group’s intention to scale digital processes alongside operational growth.

The agreement will involve integration across Erith’s full suite of operations, including SHEQ and Swanton Consulting.

Evaluation process led to selection of PlanRadar

PlanRadar reported that Erith Group chose its platform following a review of multiple digital solutions.

According to Erith Group’s SHEQ Director Joe Mitchell, the platform was selected due to its ease of use and its reception during the trial phase.

Mitchell said: “After a thorough review of available digital solutions, PlanRadar emerged as the clear frontrunner for Erith Group.

“The platform’s intuitive design and extensive functionality were well-received by our teams during the trial period.

“The exceptional responsiveness and quality of PlanRadar’s customer support were a significant factor in our decision.

“We are confident that standardising on PlanRadar will significantly enhance our quality assurance processes, streamline our document control, and ultimately provide even greater value and transparency to our clients.”

The company added that the implementation would allow for more consistent oversight across a growing number of project areas.

Platform to support record centralisation and speed

PlanRadar explained that its platform would enable more efficient document control and the creation of consistent project records across Erith Group’s UK operations.

The company stated that records would be made more accessible through centralised data storage, enhancing both internal transparency and external reporting.

PlanRadar said the benefits would include streamlined processes for documentation as well as quicker reporting turnaround times for clients.

According to PlanRadar, the system’s flexibility was also a key factor in supporting projects that span multiple services, such as haulage, plant, remediation and consultancy.

Erith Group noted that this change would support its wider efforts to build scalable and standardised practices across departments.

PlanRadar highlights platform’s usability and service

PlanRadar’s UK Director Rob Norton said the partnership highlighted the platform’s alignment with operational demands across major contractors.

Norton said: “We are thrilled that Erith Group has chosen PlanRadar as their group-wide digital standard.

“Its rigorous evaluation process and ultimate selection of PlanRadar are a testament to the value and user-friendliness our platform provides.

“We are committed to supporting Erith Group in achieving their strategic objectives of enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and superior client satisfaction as they roll out PlanRadar across their impressive portfolio of projects.”

The company stated that its work with Erith Group aligns with broader digital transformation efforts within the UK construction and infrastructure sectors.

It added that support services and adaptability were central to the onboarding process.

UK rollout aligns with operational growth

Erith Group said that its transition to PlanRadar was partly driven by a growing volume of project records and the need for greater control.

The company operates across multiple specialist sectors, including demolition, construction, earthworks, infrastructure, and technical consultancy.

According to Erith Group, a single standardised platform would support its long-term strategy to embed digital practices across all workstreams.

PlanRadar noted that the UK rollout reflects a wider industry shift towards more integrated and transparent site-level recordkeeping.

The platform will be used across internal operations, safety and compliance, and client-facing documentation.
