FEU Leadership Conference to launch at INTERSCHUTZ 2026
In 2026, INTERSCHUTZ in Hannover will host the inaugural FEU Leadership Conference, which will bring together around 300 international fire service leaders on June 3 and 4.
According to INTERSCHUTZ, this collaboration was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on November 8, 2024, at the FEU Council meeting in Limassol, Cyprus.
The partnership aims to foster shared strategies and best practices within Europe’s fire and rescue community.
The FEU (Federation of European Union Fire Officer Associations), representing national fire departments and associations, will lead this conference.
The event marks an effort to enhance public safety and resilience by sharing insights and fostering collaboration across national borders.

FEU President Stephan Wevers expressed optimism about the collaboration, underscoring the conference’s focus on safety and resilience.
