PartB confirmed as headline sponsor
FIRE Conference 2025 organisers have announced PartB as the headline sponsor for the upcoming event in London.
According to the organisers, the conference will take place on 13 November 2025 at the QEII Conference Centre.
PartB is a UK-based fire engineering consultancy that provides regulatory support to commercial, residential and corporate clients.
The organisers said PartB’s role as headline sponsor will help deliver the event’s programme and support wider professional development.
Organisers and partners behind the event
The organisers reported that FIRE Conference is developed jointly by the Institution of Fire Engineers, the Fire Protection Association, the National Fire Chiefs Council and the Fire Sector Confederation.
It said the event brings together fire safety professionals from the UK and abroad.
The organisers added that the programme is structured around policy discussions and technical knowledge exchange.
They confirmed that PartB’s sponsorship will help provide resources for both plenary and breakout sessions.
PartB’s statement on sponsorship
Jamie Davis, Chief Technical Officer at PartB, said: “We’re proud to sponsor the FIRE Conference this year and believe this event is instrumental in bringing organisations and people together to discuss how we can deliver better, workable fire safety solutions.
“The importance of future-proofing our built environment is especially significant to us and reflected in our growing consultancy services – with our most recent engineering-backed expansion, PartB Fire Testing, delivered in partnership with the FPA.
“We very much look forward to discussing the important topics of the day on November 13th.”
Conference programme and plenary sessions
The organisers outlined that the theme of FIRE Conference 2025 will be “Future-proofing our built environment.”
Plenary sessions will include reflections on lessons from public inquiries such as Grenfell.
The organisers added that an international case study on the Moss Landing battery fire will also be presented.
They said the programme will feature panels on wildfires at the rural–urban interface and the use of ultra-early detection systems.
A second panel will examine how expertise from other disciplines can enhance fire engineering approaches.
Breakout sessions and key speakers
The organisers confirmed that breakout sessions will cover residential engagement, competency in fire risk assessment and regulatory updates under the Building Safety Act.
They reported that the residential engagement session will feature Andy Fry of TPAS, Nick Lacey from Wolverhampton Homes and resident Louise Lynch.
The competency session will be sponsored by Consort Insurance and examine qualifications and consistency in fire risk assessment.
The organisers added that the building safety session will address Gateways 2 and 3 of the Building Safety Act and revisions to PAS 9980.
Access, ticketing and sponsorship opportunities
The organisers said tickets are available for both physical and virtual attendance, starting at £100 plus VAT.
They reported that delegates will also receive CPD hours and on-demand access to session recordings.
The organisers added that sponsorship and exhibition opportunities remain available, with interested parties asked to contact Nick Walker at the Fire Protection Association.
They confirmed that PartB joins a line-up of partners helping to shape the 2025 event.
Relevance for fire and safety professionals
FIRE Conference 2025 provides a platform for professionals to engage with current UK fire safety regulations and international case studies.
The sessions are structured to reflect policy, technical and operational developments that directly affect fire engineers and safety managers.
Topics such as public inquiry findings, battery energy storage risks, wildfire detection and building safety regulations connect directly to daily practice across the sector.
The event also provides CPD accreditation, ensuring that delegates can use attendance to maintain professional competence.
