Advanced imaging technologies for challenging conditions

FLIR will present its latest security and safety technologies at Intersec 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 14-16 January.

Among the solutions on display will be visual cameras, thermal imaging systems, and radar technology for environments requiring 24/7 monitoring and long-distance detection.

Visitors can explore products designed for fire protection, perimeter security, and intrusion detection at Booth SA H11.

The Quasar Premium Bullet AI camera, offering 5 MP or 4K Ultra HD video with integrated deep neural network (DNN) analytics, will be one of the highlights.

This technology enables precise detection and classification of humans and vehicles while supporting object geo-tracking through Flir Nexus.

Cutting-edge thermal imaging for perimeter and fire safety

Flir will also display its thermal security cameras, known for their capability to function effectively in conditions like fog, dust, and darkness.

These systems include the FC-Series AI-R thermal radiometric camera, designed to detect hot spots and combustion risks in remote or harsh environments.

Upon detecting a significant temperature shift, this camera can trigger an alarm in the Video Management System (VMS), allowing a swift response.

Other products include the FH-Series R fixed camera, which combines thermal and 4K visible imaging to identify hot spots in industrial or storage areas.

AI-enhanced cameras for discreet surveillance

The FLIR Quasar Premium Mini Dome AI camera, a compact 5 MP network camera with robust cybersecurity measures, will also be featured.

This camera integrates advanced AI analytics for situational awareness and offers reliable monitoring in challenging environments.

Flir’s United VMS, compatible with pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) tracking, enhances cybersecurity and integrates with third-party systems for a comprehensive surveillance solution.

Radar solutions for precise detection and tracking

Flir will showcase its Elara R-290 ground radar at Intersec.

This radar system provides real-time mapping of humans (up to 200m) and vehicles (up to 400m), ensuring accurate detection and tracking in all weather conditions.

Radar technology will play a key role in Flir’s exhibit, offering solutions for both long- and short-range applications, suitable for perimeter security and early warning systems.
