Customer survey confirms strong satisfaction across Hochiki Europe

Hochiki Europe has released findings from its 2025 Customer Survey, reporting high satisfaction with product quality, reliability and customer support.

According to the company, customers rated their experience highly in key areas such as product knowledge, friendliness and technical reliability.

The company said these results reflect strong trust in Hochiki’s people and products across specifiers, installers and facilities teams.

Service performance was also reported to have improved compared with the previous year.

Respondents noted better stock availability, faster delivery times and improved order accuracy following operational investments in planning and logistics.

Shinsuke Kubo, Managing Director for Hochiki Europe, said: “Customers trust Hochiki for robust, high-quality devices and responsive support, and we’re delighted to see that recognised so clearly.”

“The step forward in stock and delivery performance shows our operational investments are landing where customers feel them most.”

Customers highlight interest in wireless and cloud technologies

The survey identified emerging priorities among customers for future product development.

According to Hochiki Europe, customers showed most interest in aspirating smoke detection, cloud and remote access, multi-sensor devices and fully wireless systems for the coming two to five years.

Demand for control panels remained strongest in the half- to two-loop range, which aligns with a wide variety of projects across commercial, educational and public-sector buildings.

The company said this roadmap reflects evolving user expectations for flexible, connected fire-detection systems.

Sustainability and lifecycle design remain key focus areas

Sustainability was described as a major area of interest for many organisations participating in the survey.

Customers expressed particular concern for circular design principles and end-of-life product pathways.

These priorities, Hochiki explained, align with ongoing compliance and certification work across European markets.

Commenting on the survey’s broader outcomes, Kubo added: “I am very pleased with this year’s survey results. Customer service is at the forefront of what we do. We pride ourselves in delivering a best in class, value-added service to every customer.”

“For our customers to acknowledge this makes me very proud. These results reflect the hard work, dedication and commitment our entire team put into putting people first, which helps drive our success.

“I want to thank everyone who participated in this year’s customer survey. Your input and feedback are essential for continuing to create meaningful progress in how we support you.”

Relevance for fire and safety professionals

The 2025 Customer Survey results are relevant for system specifiers, installers, and facilities teams responsible for designing, maintaining and upgrading fire-detection systems.

Consistently high satisfaction levels indicate stable reliability in Hochiki’s equipment, which can support decision-making for projects requiring dependable detection and alarm devices.

The emphasis on wireless connectivity, aspirating smoke detection and cloud-enabled control points to growing adoption of digital technologies across building safety systems.

For procurement teams and project planners, the reported improvements in delivery and stock availability may translate to reduced delays during installation or refurbishment work.

The focus on circular design and end-of-life management also informs those managing compliance within European sustainability frameworks.
