Hochiki celebrates first anniversary of Training Academy

Hochiki has marked the first anniversary of its Training Academy, which provides fire safety professionals with education and practical training on designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining its systems.

Since its launch, the academy has registered over 789 users, with more than 514 courses completed through both online and in-person training.

The academy offers courses suited to various experience levels, from engineers new to fire safety to experienced industry professionals.

Training structure and learning approach

The Training Academy offers a blended learning approach, combining online modules such as webinars, instructional videos, and interactive courses with in-person training at Hochiki’s facilities in Kent.

Participants benefit from self-paced learning alongside hands-on experience, including practical exercises and simulations.

According to a participant: “From first contacting Hochiki support to completing their online course, and then face-to-face training, the communication has been fantastic.”
