The IFE has launched a campaign promoting its redeveloped CPD Hub, helping fire professionals access learning and support career development
The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) has launched a month-long campaign promoting its redeveloped CPD Hub and highlighting the importance of continuing professional development (CPD) for fire safety professionals.
Running from 2 September to 5 October, the campaign will showcase how the enhanced CPD Hub makes it easier for members to access high-quality learning resources and support their professional development at every stage of their careers.
The redeveloped platform includes an improved search facility, enabling users to find content relevant to their role, interests and development goals more quickly.
Members can also access estimated completion times, enhanced resource descriptions and learning outcomes, helping them identify CPD activities that fit their schedules and professional objectives.
New technical content
The CPD Hub also introduces a new category of International Fire Professional (IFP) technical articles, providing members with access to a wider range of specialist knowledge and in-depth learning opportunities.
Alongside promoting the platform, the IFE’s campaign will explore why CPD is important for fire professionals, addressing common misconceptions while demonstrating how ongoing development supports professional knowledge, professional registration and lifelong learning.
With more than 15,000 members worldwide, the IFE provides learning opportunities through its branches and groups, technical events, webinars and online resources.
The campaign will highlight the breadth of CPD opportunities available to members and demonstrate how professionals can build meaningful development through a variety of activities.
Supporting professional development
The IFE said the redeveloped CPD Hub is designed to make learning easier for members to discover, plan and access, helping fire professionals take a proactive approach to their ongoing development.
The campaign will run across the IFE’s digital channels under the #CPD campaign, with members encouraged to explore the enhanced CPD Hub and its available learning resources.
