Two-day conference on flood preparedness to take place in Poole in November
The International Floodfighters Conference 2024 will take place on 5th and 6th November in Poole, UK.
the event will gather global experts to share insights on flood rescue preparedness and case studies to help mitigate the impact of flooding.
The conference will be held at two different venues over the two days: the Royal National Lifeboat Institution College on the first day and the MDL Marina at Cobbs Quay on the second.

Chief Jeff Dulin, Strategic Adviser to the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) National & Global Programs, USA, will open the event.
Dr Paddy Morgan, MD, will deliver the keynote address, with the conference chaired by Emeritus Fire Chief Roy Harold.

Dirk Bissinger, Vice President of Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft (DLRG), will also contribute by sharing their knowledge on water and flood rescue operations.
