International global leaders gear up for Intersec

The world’s most advanced security, fire and protection solutions across the entire value chain will take centre stage in Dubai this month as leading products from around the world set for unveilings at Intersec, the world’s leading trade fair for the industry which runs at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 17-19 January.

Intersec will host exhibitors from all corners of the globe, with around 70% of the industry’s global market leaders to be present at the show.

“It’s clear that the international appeal of Intersec continues to grow, driven by the incredible opportunities in the Middle East region,” said Alex Nicholl, Show Director at Intersec organiser Messe Frankfurt. “When you consider the predicted growth, driven by mega events, smart cities and regional government support, it is clear that Intersec is the ideal platform for the industry to come together.”

Fire

For the Fire & Rescue section in particular, one key exhibitor, a founding partner of Intersec 2023 will be NAFFCO – one of the world’s leading producers and suppliers of top-tier firefighting equipment, fire protection systems, fire alarms, security and safety engineering systems worldwide.

French giant the Leader Group will be at the show demonstrating a breakthrough range of technology-led equipment for safety, security and firefighting operations and personnel, including victim search apparatus such as seismic and radar life detectors and stability protection equipment for responders.

Health and Safety

The Safety and Health sector will be divided into environmental, industrial, and public health and safety, with representatives including Carrington Textiles, the largest producer of workwear fabrics in the UK; alongside exhibitors from around the globe such as Abdulshakoor Abdullah Algarawi General Trading from Saudi Arabia, Kivanc from Turkey, Arvind Limited from India, and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) from the UK.

Security

Elsewhere, Cyber Security will host cyber solutions, experts, from national leaders to public & private sector professionals, from cyber connoisseurs to advisors, and cyber economists to corporate buyers. NX Digital Technology, a leading Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity service provider in the Middle East will be exhibiting in this sector as well as FM Approvals from the USA.

Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC), the Official Government Partner of Intersec 2023, will be will be hosting a Cybernode initiative, a unique cybersecurity awareness session developed in partnership between DESC and Thales, while Israel’s Cellebrite will demonstrate digital intelligence solutions which collect and review investigative analytics and provide investigation and evidence management.

Nicholl added: “Technology is redefining the entire security and firefighting industries and promises a safer world for us all with Intersec being at the forefront of showcasing developments which will change how these important sectors operate.”

Up to 40,000 security, emergency response, safety and cybersecurity professionals are anticipated to attend Intersec 2023 – the 24th in the series – in addition to delegations of Civil Defence representatives, including Director Generals, from around the region, including other Emirates such as Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, as well as Saudi Arabia and other locations within the GCC.
