Intersec 2025: Event details and key highlights

The 26th edition of Intersec, a major event focusing on security, safety, and fire protection, begins tomorrow (14^th January 2025) at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

The event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is expected to be the largest in its history.

According to Intersec organisers, the event will feature 1,200 exhibitors from 61 countries and expects over 52,000 visitors from 140 countries.

Intersec 2025 will operate under the theme ‘Mapping the Future of Security, Safety, and Fire Protection’.

The event will present the latest technologies and solutions across five main sectors: Commercial & Perimeter Security, Fire & Rescue, Safety & Health, Cyber Security, and Homeland Security & Policing.

New features at Intersec 2025

This year, several new features have been introduced to enhance the event experience.

The inaugural Intersec Policing Conference will bring together over 50 international experts to discuss law enforcement and public safety practices.

Additionally, the CISO Business Briefing will provide a platform for Chief Information Security Officers to explore emerging cybersecurity trends.

The Intersec Startup Arena, hosted with Ignyte, will spotlight innovative solutions from startups to industry leaders and investors.

Conference programmes and industry insights

Intersec 2025 will host several key conferences aimed at addressing challenges and opportunities in safety and security.

The Security Leaders’ Summit, supported by Kearney, will focus on sustainable security practices and the intersection of technology with geopolitical risks.

Other conference highlights include the Safety and Health Conference, curated by global safety organisations, and the Fire and Rescue Conference, led by the National Fire Protection Association.

These conferences will cover topics such as fire prediction using AI and compliance with fire safety codes.

Live features and awards

Live demonstrations and awards will be integral parts of the event.

The Safety Walk will feature industrial safety gear presentations, while the Innovation Stage will showcase advancements in cybersecurity.

The Security Professionalism & Excellence Awards (SPEA) will take place on 14 January, followed by the prestigious Intersec Awards on 15 January.
