Intersec Saudi Arabia 2024: Major expansion in exhibition space and visitors expected
Intersec Saudi Arabia 2024, the leading trade fair for safety, security, and fire protection in the country, will be held under the patronage of the High Commission of Industrial Security and in association with the Ministry of Interior and Saudi Civil Defence.
According to organisers 1st Arabia, under license by Messe Frankfurt, this year’s event will be the largest to date.
Exhibition space has increased by 34% year-on-year, reaching 23,000 square metres.
The number of visitors is also expected to rise by 14%, with over 17,000 industry professionals anticipated to attend the three-day event.

Future Security and Safety Summit and Fire Protection and Technology Summit
The event will feature the Future Security and Safety Summit and the Fire Protection and Technology Summit, with several sessions and speakers already confirmed.
On the first day of the Future Security and Safety Summit, Tawfeek Alsadoon, Group Head of Security at Red Sea Global, will discuss developing security strategies for island and coastal tourism destinations.
Arwa Alhamad, with over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, will explore opportunities and risks in her session, Cybersecurity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.
The Fire Protection and Technology Summit will also commence on the first day.
Division Commander AC Ryan Ong of the Singapore Civil Defence Force Marina Division will present on the effectiveness of deployed technologies in fire detection.
Zahi Daher, Regional Standards Manager at UL Standards & Engagement, will discuss fire safety hazards for electric vehicles, and Lee Miles, Head of Fire & Emergency Planning at Red Sea International Airport, will speak about emergency responses to aviation incidents.
Green technologies and sustainable practices in fire safety
Mohammed Al Saeefan, Fire Protection Engineering Specialist at Saudi Aramco, will lead a panel discussion on green technologies for fire prevention and control.
This session will promote sustainable practices in fire safety, highlighting the industry’s shift towards more environmentally friendly solutions.

Intersec Saudi Arabia will be held in Halls 1-5 at RICEC, with various sections dedicated to different aspects of security, safety, and fire protection.
