Conference programme features two flagship summits
Intersec Saudi Arabia said its conference programme features the Future Security Summit, powered by ASIS International – Dharan Chapter, and the Fire Protection and Technology Summit.
The company explained that both events are tailored to address the Saudi market and are designed to advance dialogue around national safety priorities.
Riham Sedik, Exhibition Director – Intersec Saudi Arabia at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said: “Intersec Saudi Arabia brings together global and regional leaders in security, emergency response and safety to exchange knowledge and highlight groundbreaking advancements.
“It has grown alongside these vital sectors, which are gaining even greater importance as the Kingdom prepares to host major international events and advances its Vision 2030 goals.”
The event confirmed that all conference sessions this year are Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certified.
This enables delegates to earn recognised professional credits while attending sessions.
Summit explores giga-projects, cybersecurity and cooperation
The Future Security Summit will feature two days of sessions with speakers from regional and international organisations.
Topics include mega-event security, cybersecurity, homeland security and aviation protection.
A key session on the opening day focuses on the security of Saudi Arabia’s giga-projects, featuring representatives from King Salman Park Foundation and Red Sea Global.
The event stated that this panel explores how security strategies are being adapted for sustainable urban environments.
The summit also includes a session titled “Beyond Borders, Regional and Global Security Cooperation in a shifting Geopolitical climate.”
Participants in that session include representatives from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Aramco, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and the National Security Services Company (SAFE).
NFPA joins Fire Protection and Technology Summit
The Fire Protection and Technology Summit brings together global experts in fire protection and emergency response.
Organisers said this year’s programme includes a new collaboration with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
The NFPA will host a dedicated programme on the second day of Intersec Saudi Arabia, presenting international fire protection expertise to the Saudi market.
The opening keynote is being delivered by Saudi Civil Defense, followed by a presentation from the International Code Council (ICC) on updates to the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
Terrance Tsang, Chief Fire Officer of Hong Kong Fire Services Department, will also present a session titled “Enhancing the Safety Standard of Super High-rise Buildings.”
Representatives from King Fahad International Airport will discuss “Fire Prevention Management for Airport Facilities.”
Bilal Al Barmawi, CEO and Founder of 1st Arabia Trade Shows & Conferences, commented: “This year’s conference will drive bold conversations with industry leaders, regulatory authorities and international experts who are at the forefront of fire safety and security.”
Exhibits span five key product sectors
Intersec Saudi Arabia 2025 is being held across Halls 1–7 at RICEC and an adjoining outdoor area.
The event covers five sectors: Commercial and Perimeter Security, Homeland Security and Policing, Fire and Rescue, Safety and Health, and Cybersecurity.
It is organised by 1st Arabia and licensed by Messe Frankfurt.
Relevance for fire and safety professionals
The 2025 edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia provides a comprehensive overview of regional fire protection, security and emergency response priorities.
For fire safety engineers, system specifiers and fire-protection contractors, the Fire Protection and Technology Summit delivers access to global expertise from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and updates to the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
Facility managers, fire chiefs and airport safety teams can gain insight from presentations on high-rise safety standards and airport fire prevention management.
Fire equipment manufacturers and service providers will find opportunities for industry collaboration through the event’s Fire and Rescue sector.
Emergency management and public safety leaders can follow discussions at the Future Security Summit addressing giga-project protection and international cooperation frameworks.
The exhibition and conference together provide a structured platform for professional learning, partnership building and policy exchange in Saudi Arabia’s evolving safety sector.
