The manufacturer added that Revell will work to ensure customers are equipped with appropriate solutions and advice.

His arrival coincides with a wider phase of business expansion for the company.

dynamicZM product background and technology features

The dynamicZM product was launched by fire safety firm QDOS in 2024.

It operates as a third-party dynamic zone mimic compatible with different fire alarm systems.

Unlike traditional LED zone mimics, dynamicZM uses a large LCD screen that shows an active zone plan during alarm events.

When not activated, the screen can display other pre-programmed media.

This eliminates the need for manual input during incidents, allowing clear identification of affected zones.

QDOS said the product was in development for four years and required a six-figure investment.

Statements from QDOS leadership and Martin Revell

QDOS founder and CEO Damian Linley said: “I have known Martin for 25 years and he’s always been so well informed and up to date with the industry that the opportunity to get him on board with dynamicZM was too good to turn down.”

“dynamicZM has been so well received by industry peers and end users alike, Martin has all the credentials to help position this new and innovative product in the marketplace.”

Revell said:

“I’m excited to be joining Damian and the team at dynamicZM.

“Having known Damian for many years and seeing the development of QDOS into a market leading company I wanted to be a part of the dynamicZM innovation.”
