MSA Safety’s impact on products and solutions

MSA Safety has released its 2023 Impact Report, available on its website.

The report details the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, focusing on Products and Solutions, People, and Planet.

MSA Safety highlights several initiatives under its Products and Solutions category.

These include technologies that help detect refrigerant leaks, contributing to reduced carbon footprints and operational costs.

The report also notes the design of sustainable products, such as rechargeable batteries for self-contained breathing apparatuses, which reduce landfill waste.

Additionally, MSA provides personal protective equipment (PPE) designed for various demographics, enhancing worker safety through inclusive sizing and comfortable designs.

The V-Gard C1™ Hard Hat is featured for its role in protecting workers from heat stress.

MSA Safety’s environmental goals

The 2023 Impact Report also details MSA Safety’s progress towards its 2030 emission reduction goals, initially outlined in the 2022 report.

The company’s efforts include various sustainability initiatives aimed at minimizing environmental impact.

The report introduces the Safety Impact Metric, which estimates the number of workers protected by MSA products each year.

As of December 31, 2023, MSA Safety products have helped protect an estimated 40 million people globally.
