Fire protective clothing innovations on display

MSA Safety will present various fire protective clothing innovations at ESS 2024, including its newest gear designed for different firefighting environments.

The MSA Bristol Rescue Stretch integrates GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® PYRAD® stretch fabric, offering flexibility and protection against wind, water, and blood-borne pathogens.

The Bristol X4 Wildlandâ„¢ Garment, on the other hand, is tailored for long shifts in hot environments, providing lightweight comfort.

The Bristol X4 TRW-Hybridâ„¢ Suit is a versatile option for both technical rescue and wildland firefighting.

MSA’s Connected Firefighter Platform offers advanced data insights

The MSA Connected Firefighter Platform will also be showcased, highlighting its integration of hardware and software technologies to help fire departments manage equipment and safety more efficiently.

This platform includes the M1 self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and the MSA HUB, a cloud-connected gateway for real-time monitoring and post-incident analysis.

FireGrid software, part of the platform, digitizes equipment management tasks like compliance checks and inspections, providing a more accessible way for departments to manage their gear.

This system improves decision-making on the ground and during post-event reviews.

Fire helmets and other safety solutions featured at ESS

MSA Safety’s Gallet brand will also be represented at ESS with the GALLET® F2XR Rescue Helmet, a versatile helmet designed for various rescue situations.

Certified for wildland firefighting, urban search and rescue, climbing, and water rescue, the helmet offers a solution for firefighters facing a variety of challenging scenarios.
