IFE International President role: Invitation for candidates open until 31st July

The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) is inviting candidates to stand for the role of International President.

As reported by the IFE, the current International President, Hayley Burgess, will end her tenure at this year’s AGM on 24th October 2024.

Nominations for the International President 2024-25 are now open.

The International President is a Trustee of the IFE and plays an active role in shaping the future of the fire profession.

This opportunity comes as the IFE develops its next strategy aimed at enhancing its global presence and influence.

Role and responsibilities

The successful candidate will represent the Institution globally as its most senior ambassador.

The International President is elected by the Board and will serve from the AGM in October 2024 until the 2025 AGM.

The new president will be instrumental in steering the organization through its strategic goals and expanding its influence in the fire profession.

Application process

Candidates interested in applying must complete a nomination form.

All nominations and supporting information must be submitted to [email protected] by 12 noon BST on 31st July 2024.

Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
