NVFC and Championz Gin announce partnership to honour volunteer firefighters

The National Volunteer Fire Council and Championz Gin have launched a special edition gin to recognise America’s volunteer firefighters and emergency responders

The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) and Championz Gin have announced a new partnership featuring the launch of Championz Gin Hero Edition benefiting the National Volunteer Fire Council.

The special edition has been created to recognise and honour the volunteer firefighters and emergency responders who serve communities across the United States.

For every bottle sold, Championz Gin will donate $12 directly to benefit the NVFC and its mission to support America’s volunteer fire and emergency services community.

“Volunteer firefighters and emergency responders represent the very definition of a champion,” said PJ Andersson, Founder of Championz Gin. “They answer the call because their communities need them, not because they seek recognition. This edition was created as a way for people to raise a glass, express their gratitude, and make a meaningful contribution to those who serve.”

The NVFC represents the interests of volunteer firefighters, emergency medical responders and rescue personnel nationwide. Volunteer responders provide emergency services in communities across the country, protecting lives and property while dedicating significant time to training, preparation and service.

Championz Gin Heroes Edition

The Championz Gin Hero Edition benefiting the National Volunteer Fire Council forms part of Championz Gin’s wider Heroes Edition collection, which celebrates individuals and organisations whose actions demonstrate courage, commitment and service.

Through the partnership, consumers and hospitality partners can support the NVFC while recognising volunteer emergency responders who protect their communities.

The Championz Gin Hero Edition benefiting the National Volunteer Fire Council is expected to begin arriving at selected retailers and hospitality partners across New York, New Jersey and Washington, DC, from late August 2026.
