Percheron Capital has announced the creation of a new fire and life safety platform in the United States, partnering with former Johnson Controls executive Carmine Schiavone.

According to Percheron Capital, the platform aims to work with companies that prioritise service quality and staff development in the fire and life safety sector.

Leadership background and strategic goals

Percheron Capital stated that Carmine Schiavone brings over 30 years of industry experience, having led the largest fire and life safety business in North America through roles at Johnson Controls and Tyco International.

The firm explained that during Schiavone’s tenure, the business achieved strong technician retention and safety records while also generating multibillion-dollar annual revenue.

It also noted that Schiavone later served as Chief Executive Officer at SavATree, where he oversaw multiple acquisitions within five years.
