Reliant Fire Apparatus acquires Pierce dealer Halt Fire in Michigan

Pierce Manufacturing has reported that Reliant Fire Apparatus has acquired Halt Fire Inc., the company’s existing dealership partner for Michigan.

The acquisition extends Reliant’s exclusive Pierce dealership coverage to Michigan, alongside its existing territories in Wisconsin and Iowa.

According to Pierce Manufacturing, Reliant Fire Apparatus has represented the brand since 1994 and will retain operations at Halt Fire’s current location in Wixom, Michigan.

Reliant confirmed that the sales, service, and administrative staff will remain in place to maintain service continuity.

Reliant Fire Apparatus is based in Slinger, Wisconsin.

Transition maintains continuity for Michigan customers

Pierce Manufacturing stated that the transition is designed to preserve existing customer relationships and services in Michigan.

Brett Krueger, CEO of Reliant Fire Apparatus, said: “This transition represents a shared vision for the future of fire apparatus sales and service in Michigan.”

Krueger added: “We are working closely with the Halt Fire team to make this a seamless transition for both employees and customers.

“Our goal is to invest in the Michigan market – enhancing aftermarket support, increasing sales coverage, and delivering consistent, high-quality service departments have come to expect.”

Pierce Manufacturing confirmed that Halt Fire’s existing product lines will remain available under Reliant’s leadership.

Reliant also intends to evaluate the introduction of additional product lines into Michigan over time.

Existing teams retained under new ownership

According to Pierce Manufacturing, Reliant Fire Apparatus will continue operating at Halt Fire’s Wixom site.

The company confirmed that all existing sales, administrative, and service staff will remain employed through the transition.

Owner of Halt Fire reflects on the dealership’s legacy

Todd Lincoln, owner of Halt Fire Inc., commented on the transition process.

According to Pierce Manufacturing, Reliant will now coordinate dealership operations across Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

The company plans to align aftermarket support and lifecycle service across the three-state region.

Pierce noted that sustaining fleet readiness is a key focus area for the combined operations moving forward.

The company added that investment in customer service infrastructure will support continuity and reliability across departments served.
