Acquisition strengthens Irish health and safety services
Ranger Fire and Security has acquired Cork-based B-Safe Group to expand its services in Ireland.
According to Ranger Fire and Security, B-Safe Group becomes the company’s third acquisition in Ireland following Aqua Fire Prevention and KSS Fire Suppression.
The organisation explained that B-Safe Group offers fire extinguisher servicing, fire safety training, and consultancy to a range of clients including pharmaceutical companies and local businesses.
Ranger confirmed that B-Safe Group’s leadership team will remain in place and continue to guide the company’s operations.
It added that the acquisition will allow the business to enhance training provision and generate new cross-selling opportunities with other Ranger companies in Ireland.
Details of B-Safe Group services
Ranger Fire and Security reported that B-Safe Group was established in 2019 and builds on fire safety expertise dating back to 1983.
The company stated that B-Safe provides health and safety training courses, fire awareness and extinguisher training, fire warden programmes, and emergency response team training.
It added that B-Safe also delivers first aid and manual handling courses to meet regulatory and workplace needs.
Ranger commented that these services would complement its wider fire detection, suppression, and security offerings across Ireland.
The organisation explained that integration with B-Safe will broaden the group’s ability to meet the demands of large corporate clients and local businesses.
Leadership and continuity at B-Safe
Ranger Fire and Security confirmed that B-Safe Group will continue under its existing management team.
It reported that Damien Byrne will remain as Managing Director, Jason O’Brien as Director of Portables, Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting, and Aiden Bolster as Director of Operations and Suppression.
The company explained that this leadership continuity will help maintain B-Safe’s client relationships while aligning strategy with Ranger’s growth plans.
According to Ranger, the three directors will play a key role in developing future services and integration across the group.
It added that collaboration between management teams is expected to deliver shared expertise and improved customer service.
