EuroRescue app adds truck and bus rescue sheets
Rescue sheets for trucks and buses are now integrated into the EuroRescue app, developed by EuroNCAP, as reported by CTIF.
A new feature has been added to the app, allowing users to select between rescue sheets for cars or trucks and buses.
The EuroRescue app now consolidates all rescue sheets for road vehicles in one place.
According to CTIF, the rescue sheets will adhere to ISO standards to maintain consistency and safety.
Growing adoption of EuroRescue app
Since its launch in June 2020, the EuroRescue app has been downloaded by over 500,000 first responders across Europe.
By the end of 2023, more than 1,500 ISO 17840-compliant rescue sheets had been made available to European first responders.
CTIF highlighted that the app has proven to be a valuable resource for road rescue and extrication efforts.
In just ten months, downloads more than doubled, reflecting the app’s growing popularity and expanding user base.
Global reach of EuroRescue app
While the app has primarily been used in Europe, preliminary data from Euro NCAP indicates a broader global user base.
The United States ranks fourth among countries with the highest number of downloads, following the UK, Germany, and France.
The app’s success demonstrates its utility not only for European first responders but also for users worldwide.
Detailed statistics show that EuroRescue has gained traction across various operating systems, further solidifying its global presence.
