Battery Show Asia to debut in Hong Kong
Informa Markets has reported that The Battery Show Asia will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, marking the event’s first edition in the region in July.
According to Informa Markets, more than 300 brands and 15,000 professional visitors are expected to attend the exhibition, which focuses on battery, energy storage and electric mobility technologies.
Leoch Battery will participate as a strategic partner and present its full range of smart energy solutions, all with fire safety compliance to IEC, CE and UL standards.
The company will present five main product areas under the theme “Powering a Sustainable Future with Scenario-Based Energy Management”.
Its offerings will include demand-side energy storage systems, UPS batteries for data centres, lithium and sodium-ion telecom batteries, energy management software and a new AIoT gateway.
Demand-side battery systems meet global energy needs
Informa Markets stated that Leoch Battery’s demand-side battery energy storage systems are designed to meet energy efficiency needs in smart cities and large infrastructure projects.
The systems offer energy storage, grid interaction, and virtual power plant (VPP) compatibility.
According to the company, all solutions meet fire safety standards including IEC, CE and UL compliance.
The battery products are aimed at helping clients manage renewable power integration, energy dispatch, and grid resilience.
The firm noted that these systems contribute to energy market participation, energy reliability, and coordinated power use.
Fire safety UPS systems for AI data centres
The company is set to introduce its 6C UPS battery range, specifically for data centre backup power needs.
According to Leoch Battery, the 6C series delivers high discharge rates and short-duration backup capacity, with a compact and modular design.
The systems have fire safety compliance to UL1973, UL9540A and IEC62619 standards.
The firm stated that its PU 80/160 lithium UPS systems are designed for 5 to 10-minute high-power demand scenarios, particularly in AI-driven data centres.
The company added that its modular configuration is intended to simplify installation and reduce maintenance demands.
Telecom batteries include new sodium-ion solution
Leoch Battery’s telecom power products on display will include both lithium and sodium-ion batteries.
According to the company, the lithium models provide high energy density, long service life and maintenance-free use for telecom network infrastructure.
It added that the new sodium-ion variant has been designed as a low-temperature performing, rare metal-free option.
The sodium-ion system has been developed to increase fire safety, material sustainability and infrastructure compatibility.
The company stated that this development reflects a focus on safer and more reliable telecom network power applications.
AIoT and software platforms enable secure energy management
Informa Markets reported that Leoch Battery will also launch its AIoT gateway and global battery management system (BMS).
The company said the platform enables remote configuration, analytics and alert notifications across telecom base stations.
The BMS and AIoT software have been developed in Singapore in accordance with the country’s cybersecurity and VAPT (vulnerability assessment and penetration testing) standards.
Leoch Battery also introduced a smart energy management platform designed for use in commercial and industrial power systems, microgrids, and EV charging infrastructure.
According to the company, the platform is device-neutral and offers AI-driven energy optimisation across sites and cloud environments.
The firm stated that its platform includes software with built-in government-grade cybersecurity protocols and economy-focused algorithmic features.
Leoch partnership supports international energy collaboration
According to Informa Markets, Leoch Battery’s participation supports a wider global growth plan and aligns with the objectives of The Battery Show series.
The Battery Show has previously operated in Europe and North America, with the 2025 Hong Kong event marking its expansion into Asia.
Informa Markets stated that the event aims to connect energy innovation sectors across global regions.
Leoch Battery noted that its involvement is intended to support long-term partnerships and advance sustainable energy systems.
The company’s presentation will be hosted at Booth 5J07 during the show.
