Rosenbauer appoints Jörg Schuschnig as Chief Financial Officer
Schuschnig to take up role by October 2026
Rosenbauer International AG has announced the appointment of Jörg Schuschnig as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
He will succeed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Robert Ottel, who has held the position on an interim basis since July 2025.
According to the company, Schuschnig will assume the CFO role on the Executive Board by 1 October 2026 at the latest.
His appointment will run for a three-year term.
Supervisory Board welcomes new appointment
Christian Reisinger, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rosenbauer International AG, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Jörg Schuschnig, a seasoned financial expert with many years of industrial experience, to Rosenbauer International AG.

Schuschnig outlines priorities for financial strategy

Professional background and experience
Rosenbauer stated that Schuschnig brings extensive experience from a range of industrial and leadership roles.
Since 2022, he has served as Chief Financial Officer of the Coveris Group.
His previous positions include Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of BGO Holding, as well as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Bene.
Before that, he spent more than nine years at the Mondi Group, where he was a board member for its Industrial Bags and Consumer Flexibles business units.
Earlier in his career, he held positions at the Mayr-Melnhof Group.
Schuschnig holds a degree and a doctorate in Business Administration from WU Vienna.
