International Water Mist Conference

The International Water Mist Association (IWMA) expects well over 100 delegates from more than 20 countries. Speakers will talk about the latest developments in the field of fire protection with water mist. All attendees will get the chance to exchange ideas, to get updated, to network, to meet major researchers, manufacturers and distributors and to visit the exhibition which will run alongside the conference. 

Schedule for IWMA Conference 2025

• 15th December 2024: publication of the call for papers & publication of the sponsorship booking forms
• 31st March 2025: deadline to hand in submissions to apply for The Ragnar Wighus Award 2025 / Ph.D.
• 15th April 2025: abstract deadline & activation of the #IWMC2025 conference webpage
• 2nd June 2025: the name of the winner of The Ragnar Wighus Award / Ph.D. will be announced & speakers will be notified about acceptance of their abstract
• 1st July 2025: publication of the #IWMC2025 programme
• 23rd July 2025: the invitation to the 2024 IWMA Member Meeting together with the draft agenda for the meeting will be circulated (from this point onwards members can suggest topics for the member meeting)
• 1st August 2025: end of the early bird period (23.59 CEST)
• 5th September 2025: last day to hand in topics for the IWMA 2024 Member Meeting
• 10th September 2025: the final version of the agenda of the 2024 IWMA Member Meeting will be circulated
• 17th September 2025: the final versions of presentations are due
• 19th September 2025 (noon): the registration tool will be closed
• 23rd September 2025: 2024 IWMA Member Meeting
• 24th & 25th September 2025: 24th International Water Mist Conference
