Exhibitor growth and global expansion
SICUREZZA 2025 will take place at Fiera Milano from 19 to 21 November.
According to SICUREZZA, exhibition space has grown by 18 percent compared to 2023.
It reported that international exhibitors have risen by 28 percent, now representing 31 percent of the total, with companies attending from 24 countries.
The organisation explained that this increase reflects the international dimension of the event and its focus on both physical and digital protection.
Italian exhibitors will include Inim and Tecnoalarm, while international companies such as Notifier and Hikvision will return.
Innovation across fire and security sectors
SICUREZZA said the 2025 edition will cover video surveillance, access control, fire prevention, and passive security.
The organisation noted that new Italian participants include Gams (Bettini) and Combivox.
It reported that new international exhibitors include Assa Abloy and Carrier Fire & Security.
The organiser explained that the event layout has been updated to offer a more practical experience for visitors.
It added that the exhibition will present both established and emerging technologies across the fire and safety field.
Focus on integration and cybersecurity
SICUREZZA said digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and data-driven systems will form a large part of the exhibition content.
It added that many exhibitors will present AI-supported video surveillance, predictive monitoring, and edge-cloud platforms.
The organisation noted that cybersecurity is increasingly important as systems become more interconnected.
It stated that high-sensitivity fire detection, wireless smoke and gas detection, and predictive maintenance platforms will be featured.
It added that drones will be presented as tools for fire prevention and environmental monitoring.
Customisation and sector needs
SICUREZZA explained that many companies are now offering modular and tailored systems instead of standardised products.
It added that exhibitors are positioning themselves as consultants, working with clients to design solutions adapted to their environments.
The organisation said this reflects a wider market shift towards customisation of security and fire safety technologies.
It reported that visitors will be able to assess how these tailored solutions meet sector requirements.
The organiser commented that this approach also supports long-term partnerships between manufacturers and end users.
Thematic days and educational focus
SICUREZZA confirmed that the exhibition will feature three themed days.
It reported that 19 November will be Cyber Day, focusing on cybersecurity, physical and digital convergence, and European directives such as NIS 2 and CER.
It said 20 November will be Security Day, featuring case studies on transport, finance, major events, and cultural heritage.
It explained that 21 November will be Job in Security Day, connecting schools, technical institutes, and companies to address workforce gaps.
The EDU Project will support this by offering workshops, interviews, and presentations with exhibitors and education partners.
Event synergies in Milan
SICUREZZA reported that the 2025 edition will take place alongside MADE Expo, GEE – Global Elevator Exhibition, and SMART BUILDING EXPO.
It explained that these events form the Milan International Building Alliance (MIBA).
The organisation said the combined format will create a platform for building, mobility, security, and smart infrastructure.
It added that Fiera Milano will therefore serve as a central meeting point for multiple sectors in November.
Relevance for fire and safety professionals
The SICUREZZA 2025 programme includes new technologies in fire detection, gas monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
For fire professionals, the exhibition highlights the role of integrated systems and AI in supporting early detection and operational safety.
The inclusion of drones for prevention and monitoring reflects their growing use by fire services.
The event also provides a platform for international exchange on training, workforce development, and adapting safety systems to evolving threats.
