Streamlight launches long range search light at FDIC International
Streamlight has released the LiteBox 1Million search light designed for long distance scene illumination and emergency response tasks.
The portable device was introduced during the FDIC International event held between April 23 and 25 in Indianapolis.
This rechargeable unit produces 1 million candela and a beam capable of reaching distances exceeding one mile.
It is engineered to be lighter and more compact than the previous HID LiteBox model and is compatible with existing accessories.

Technical specifications for the Streamlight LiteBox 1Million
The unit features three white high power Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) and an articulating head that pivots 135 degrees and rotates 270 degrees.
It provides 3,300 lumens on its high setting with a four hour run time.
The low setting delivers 500 lumens and 175,000 candela for up to 20 hours of operation.
Power is supplied by two 7.2 volt 6.8Ahr Li-Ion battery packs that are rechargeable up to 500 times.
A translucent boot switch includes a battery status indicator that flashes red when 15 minutes of life remains.
The housing is constructed from high-impact ABS thermoplastic and includes a cushioned grip handle.
This search light measures 31.75 cm in length and weighs 3.17 kg with the batteries installed.
The search light is available in orange and includes a vehicle mount system.
