As part of the Technical Fire Safety Group (TFSG), Pyroguard is has announced the merger of TFSG with svt Group of Companies, one of the leading suppliers of passive fire protection in Europe.

Combining strengths in passive fire protection, the two companies are joining forces to accelerate their growth and further increase their market share on an international level. Both companies already have a long history of expansion, having more than doubled their respective sizes through strong organic growth and mergers since 2016.

Speaking about the merger, Neil Tilsley, Group CEO, said: “As part of the Technical Fire Safety Group, international expansion is a key part of our investment strategy, and this merger with the svt Group of Companies is the next step on this journey. Together with svt, we can both increase our global market share and further develop and expand our capabilities in passive fire protection.

“The Technical Fire Safety Group (Pyroguard and Fire Glass UK) and svt Group of Companies complement each other perfectly, manufacturing both fire safety glass and fire protection seals – amongst many other passive fire safety products. The two products (glass and seals) are part of the same solution, with both products only fulfilling their purpose together. Combining forces, both companies can become even stronger and more resilient and, at Pyroguard, it’s exciting to be a part of that.”

svt is one of the leading suppliers in passive fire protection in Europe. Pyroguard and Fire Glass UK are market-leading subsidiaries of the Technical Fire Safety Group, manufacturing state-of-the-art fire safety glass for the construction industry.

There will be no redundancies, job transfers or job changes for employees in connection with the merger.
