Teledyne FLIR to unveil new technologies at ADIPEC 2024
Teledyne FLIR is set to present its latest range of sensing solutions at ADIPEC 2024, taking place in Abu Dhabi from 4th to 7th November.
According to Teledyne FLIR, visitors to Stand 1005 in Hall 1 will be able to view a variety of advanced technologies designed to improve industrial safety and efficiency.
Key products include the Si-2 Series, the new Si2x, PHH-T Series, Exx-Series, and optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras for SF6 detection.
A major highlight of the exhibition will be the FLIR Si2x-Pro Acoustic Imaging Camera.
This new technology is designed for hazardous environments, addressing gas leaks, mechanical faults, and partial discharge detection, all of which are essential for industries such as manufacturing, electrical, and utilities.
New technology for hazardous environments
The FLIR Si2x-Proâ„¢ Acoustic Imaging Camera will be one of the main products on display at ADIPEC.
Designed for use in environments with hazardous gases and explosive dust, the camera is intended to improve safety by detecting leaks of toxic or flammable gases.
Teledyne FLIR stated: “The Si2x-Pro offers best-in-class performance, decision support, and fleet management, along with enterprise data integration for optimal efficiency and safety.”
This product is expected to address a variety of industrial challenges, particularly for companies aiming to reduce expenses related to compressed air or gas leaks.
SI-2 series: Industrial-grade acoustic imaging solutions
In addition to the Si2x-Proâ„¢, Teledyne FLIR will also showcase its Si2-Series, which provides industrial-grade solutions for detecting air and gas leaks, as well as mechanical faults.
The range includes three key models: the Si2-Pro, Si2-LD, and Si2-PD.
The Si2-Pro is designed for pressurised leak detection and mechanical fault detection, while the Si2-LD is optimised for manufacturing environments.
The Si2-PD model is specifically engineered for partial discharge detection in power infrastructure.
These models use advanced acoustic imaging technology to assist in industrial inspections.
Additional products on display
Teledyne FLIR will also exhibit several other product ranges at ADIPEC 2024.
These include the FLIR T-Series, which provides high-resolution thermal imaging cameras with ergonomic designs for extended inspection work.
The Exx-Series offers handheld thermal cameras suitable for predictive maintenance and building inspection, helping professionals identify potential issues before they escalate into costly repairs.
The company will also present its optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras, which are designed for detecting methane, sulfur hexafluoride, and other industrial gases.
These cameras allow users to survey large areas quickly and detect gas leaks without shutting down equipment.
Teledyne FLIR to unveil new technologies at ADIPEC 2024: summary
