Trail Group has joined the Homes England Interim Measures Alarm Fund supplier panel, enabling the delivery of compliant interim fire alarm systems for residential buildings across England
Kent-based Trail Group has been appointed to the Homes England Interim Measures Alarm Fund (IMAF) Supplier Panel, enabling the company to support building owners, housing providers and managing agents delivering Government-funded fire safety improvements across England.
The appointment places Trail Group among a select group of third-party accredited specialist contractors approved to deliver interim fire alarm systems under the Homes England scheme. The systems are designed to help residential buildings replace costly waking watch arrangements while permanent fire safety remediation works are planned or completed.
Demand for compliant interim fire alarm systems has grown significantly following the introduction of the Building Safety Act, particularly across higher-risk residential buildings. Under the Homes England Interim Measures Alarm Fund, applicants must appoint contractors from the approved supplier panel, ensuring installations are delivered by competent organisations working to recognised national standards.
Trail Group said it offers end-to-end support throughout the process, working alongside appointed fire engineers to develop compliant interim fire alarm system designs that align with both Homes England requirements and the latest National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) guidance.
The company also provides BAFE-certified system design, guidance through the Homes England application process, fully managed installation, commissioning, certification, user training, planned preventative maintenance and extended technical support.
According to Trail Group, it has already completed more than 30 rapid deployment interim fire alarm installations for multiple clients, with projects capable of being delivered from initial application through to completion within six working weeks.
The company provides a broad portfolio of active and passive fire safety services, including fire alarm design, installation, commissioning and maintenance, fire door inspections, compartmentation, emergency lighting and wider compliance works.
