The members of the International Water Mist Association (IWMA) have discussed and decided: The 21^st International Water Mist Conference will once again – after 2003 – take place in Madrid, Spain. The conference dates will be 9^th and 10^th November 2022. The conference venue will be the Elba Madrid Alcalá Hotel.

The call for papers will be published on 17^th January 2022. Sponsors can start booking their table tops for the exhibition – which will run alongside the conference – from that day onwards. IWMA general manager Bettina McDowell explains: “There will be three different packages available. Further details will be available from the IWMA headquarter in Hamburg.”

Another important date will be 16^th May which is the final date to submit abstracts and thus apply for a speaker slot. Furthermore, the conference webpage will be activated on this day.

On 1^st July, IWMA will publish the conference programme and 15^th August marks the end of the early bird period.

Deadline for submissions to apply for the IWMA Young Talent Award is 29^th April. In 2022, this award will go to the author of the best master thesis dealing with water mist.
