Saxony-Anhalt awards contract for 25 new vehicles
Albert Ziegler GmbH has announced that it will supply 25 new firefighting vehicles to the state of Saxony-Anhalt following a successful tender process.
According to Ziegler, the contract was issued in March 2025 by the Saxony-Anhalt Central Services Police Inspectorate.

The new fleet will consist of 10 LF 10 Pumpers, 10 HLF 10 Pumpers, four LF 20 Pumpers and one LF 20 Pumper configured for disaster response.
German state continues long-term supplier relationship
Ziegler said the new order follows a previous delivery of nine Equipment Vehicle Hazardous Materials (GW-G) units to Saxony-Anhalt.
The company reported that the state remains committed to its firefighting technology, citing its ALPAS aluminium modular system and the Z-Control interface as key benefits.
It added that these systems have been tailored to improve operability for users in emergency response situations.
Technology designed to improve support and response
Ziegler explained that the selected vehicle configurations will enable improved technical assistance, fire suppression, and disaster control.
The company said this includes enhanced onboard systems and chassis integration, designed around the MAN TGM platform.
According to Ziegler, the equipment will meet the requirements for varied scenarios across Saxony-Anhalt’s fire services.
