Mayor Dieter Henle said: “ZIEGLER and Giengen – that simply belongs together: Today, our fire department is receiving two first-class vehicles that were developed and manufactured in our city.
“We are particularly pleased about this.”
The company noted that the occasion carried added weight because ZIEGLER has operated from Giengen for more than 130 years.
Daniel Martin, Project Manager at ZIEGLER, said: “It’s something very special when vehicles manufactured by us will be used here in our town in the future.
“It shows how deeply rooted we are in Giengen – and how connected we feel to the region and its people.”
ZIEGLER recalled that it had already supplied a logistics equipment vehicle GW-L1 to the Giengen fire department in 2020.
The manufacturer said the latest handover continues this collaboration and further reinforces local response capacity.
HLF 10 configuration for firefighting and rescue operations

According to ZIEGLER, the body uses the latest generation ALPAS system, designed for high stability, durability and reduced weight.
Firefighting capability is delivered by the Z-Pump 10-2000-1H centrifugal fire pump, which provides up to 2,000 litres of water per minute.
