Event overview and objectives

The Bogatai Protection and Rescue Days 2024 will take place from 30 May to 1 June in the Municipality of Kranj.

This biennial event aims to raise awareness about the importance of personal and collective security and demonstrate the role of the state, the European Union, and NATO in disaster response.

The event, which began in 2005, will feature dynamic and static presentations from various civil protection and rescue units across Slovenia.

This year’s event will transform Kranj into a hub of activity with presentations in Slovenské trg, Stari Sava, Poštarska Street, and the Petr Petrič Barracks.

Visitors can learn about the work of Civil Protection, rescue units, and the Slovenian Army and Police.

Expert consultations, workshops, and round tables will also be available to enhance learning and preparedness.
