The Fire Fighting Challenge takes place today (28 February) until 2 March as part of the Civil Defense Day celebrations in Dubai and is being supported by Intersec to bring the event to the United Arab Emirates.

As Diamond sponsors, Intersec is supporting the challenge as part of its 25^th anniversary celebrations ahead of its Silver Jubilee edition in January 2024.

The Fire Fighting Challenge has been developed by organisers 911 Challenge Events Management to draw attention to the requirements of firefighting, both physical and mental. Competitors will showcase their real-life actions through a series of challenges, allowing visitors to see equipment in action, as well as witness the extraordinary levels of fitness required of firefighters.

Raising the profile of unsung heroes
